Research

This section of the website contains articles produced by the Washington Renaissance Fantasy Faire Performing Arts Department for your entertainment and education. We feel as if the articles contained in this section, in conjunction with the other sections of this website and the pages listed in the links page, provide a thorough and comprehensive beginning education in both the renaissance and what's involved with working as an actor at events. This selection will grow over time, and we welcome submissions by our actors and friends of the faire as well. If you would like to contribute an article to the research section, please contact Chelsea, our webmistress and artistic coordinator. If you haven't already, be sure to also check out the Persona Creation section for more information on period history and costuming.
